Ruald founded CEO GOLF in 2010 with a handful of business executives on a golf course. It has since grown to become exclusive golf tournaments and gatherings for CEOs.
Ruald is proud to be associated with great charities serving as a volunteer and/or brand ambassador for more than a decade. Throughout his career, Ruald has earned numerous awards and distinctions.
In 2022, Ruald received the prestigious President's Lifetime Achievement Award (also known as the President's Call to Service Award) from President Joe Biden, the 46th President of the United States. This award, which is the highest level of the President's Volunteer Service Award, was given to Ruald in recognition of his exceptional commitment to volunteerism.
The following year, in 2023, Ruald was honored with a South African National Order, the Order of the Baobab (Grand Counsellor of the Baobab). This esteemed award was presented to him by President Cyril Ramaphosa, the President of the Republic of South Africa, in acknowledgment of his outstanding contributions as a global philanthropist. The National Orders represent the highest accolades bestowed upon South Africans for their significant achievements and contributions.
In light of these remarkable achievements, Ruald received congratulatory messages that include, President Donald J. Trump, the 45th President of the United States, who extended his warm wishes and recognition for Ruald's extraordinary accomplishments.
In addition, Ruald is a helicopter pilot and married to Cinnedene.
